An honorary Degree of PhD awarded to The Iranian Consul General in Karachi

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has awarded honorary doctorate degrees to the Consul General of the I.R.Iran in Karachi for his exceptional contributions to successful diplomacy and the promotion of international relations.

In This regard, A ceremony was held in the Governor House in Karachi where all the prominent political and diplomatic personalities of Karachi were present. During the ceremony, Hassan Nourian, Consul General of Iran in Karachi was awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree by the Governor Sindh. Speaking at the event, Tessori commended the unwavering efforts of the honouree in advancing diplomacy and development. He emphasised that encouraging those who served the nation was vital to inspire others to follow suit, stating that active participation in all sectors was key to national progress.

He acknowledged their outstanding efforts in enhancing international relations, successful diplomacy, and driving development, noting that their steadfast dedication deserved high praise.

He further highlighted that these individuals had not only fostered national unity through their exemplary services but also advanced the vision of national progress. Their efforts to promote dialogue, resolve conflicts and address global challenges had set remarkable standards, Tessori remarked.

It is to be noted that according to the constitution of Pakistan the Governor of every province is the head of all universities and higher education boards of that province. Mr. Hassan Nourian was appointed as Consul General of Iran in Karachi, the economic capital of Pakistan, in 2021.
