The Iranian Consulate in Karachi observed Al-Quds Day
Al-Quds Day was held in a dignified way at the Iranian Consulate General in Karachi.
Governor Sindh H.E. Kamran Khan Tesori, Chief Minister Sindh H.E. Syed Murad Ali Shah, Minister of Culture and Tourism Sindh H.E. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, and other prominent people of Karachi attended the event. Meanwhile, political, social, religious, and diplomatic figures like Consul Generals of China, Turkey, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka were also present. Addressing the audience, Iran's Consul General H.E. Hassan Nourian said that Imam Khomeini (RA) instructed to observe the last Friday of Ramadan as Al-Quds Day and today Al-Quds Day is being observed among the people of the whole world regardless of their religion or race, or region, it has become a metaphor for unity. He added that in the last two hundred days, almost forty thousand people have been martyred by Israel in Gaza, and mosques, schools, hospitals, and infrastructure of Gaza have also been destroyed, In such a situation, the main goal of Al-Quds Day is to stop the genocide of the victims of Gaza and to promote the liberation of Palestine. H.E. Hassan Nourian mentioned the Israeli attack on the Iranian Embassy in Syria in recent days and said that this attack is an open violation of international laws and regulations and God willing, Israel will get a response and will regret it. The Iranian Tabashi group made a special appearance at the ceremony and received applause from the audience by performing Asma Al-Hasana and Palestinian national anthems in their unique style.
