Iranian Consul General Delivers Keynote Address at 3rd International Palestine Conference in Karachi
Karachi 10 March 2025 – The 3rd International Palestine Conference was held at the Mehran Hotel in Karachi bringing together a wide array of prominent political and religious leaders from across Pakistan. Organized by the Palestine Foundation the event aimed to reaffirm solidarity with the Palestinian cause amid growing regional tensions.
Among the keynote speakers was Hassan Nourian, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, who reiterated Iran’s unwavering support for oppressed nations in the region, particularly those within the Axis of Resistance.
In his address, Nourian emphasized the urgent need for unity within the Islamic world to confront the aggression of the Israeli regime and its international backers. “Today, Islamic unity is not a choice but a necessity to overcome the tyranny and crimes of the Zionist regime and its supporters,” he stated. He further called on Muslim nations to take decisive action by boycotting Israeli and American product, describing it as a practical step toward resisting occupation and injustice.
The event also featured addresses by Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami and Secretary General of Pakistan's National Solidarity Council, Sabir Abu Maryam, Secretary General of the Palestine Foundation, and Zaheer Naji, a representative of the Hamas resistance movement.
The conference served as a powerful platform for reaffirming solidarity with the Palestinian people and calling for unified action against continued occupation and oppression in the region.
