On the 43rd Anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran

I extend my heartiest felicitation to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the auspicious occasion of their national day and wish them best of luck.

Pakistan and Iran are two brotherly and friendly countries tied with history-long and sincere religious, historical, cultural knots. Iran is Pakistan’s neighbour country and is very important one in the region. Its role in the regional stability, durable peace and sustainable development  is a key one and can not be ignored. Iran is the first country which recognized Pakistan in 1947 and sice then the two nations have continued to deeped the relations amiblay. Iran is energy rich country and Pakistan desparately needs Iranin support to meet its energy requirements. Since the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Iran faced many challenges bravely and the whole nation exhibited enormous unity against sanctions and helped Iran to survive.

There are number of sectors where Pakistan and Iran can join hands to cooperate, invest and to enhance bilateral trade, including tourism, education, energy, railway and transportation. Both countries need to further cooperate to curb terrorism, extremism and to do joint efforts to eliminate poverty, illiteracy and ignorance.

I extend my heartiest felicitation to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the auspicious occasion of their national day and wish them best of luck. I also appreciate the efforts of “Ambassador” magazine and its editorial team and researchers whose tireless efforts are going to bring this secial edition of it on the occasion.
