Chargé d’Affaires of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi Attends Ceremony at Governor House
A ceremony was held at the Governor’s House of Sindh Province on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day of Pakistan. Mehrzad Tabatabaei, the chargé d’affaires of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, attended the event, which was also joined by consuls general and senior diplomats from various countries, including Indonesia, Qatar, China, Türkiye, Iraq, Sri Lanka, and others.
As part of the ceremony,  Tabatabaei planted a tree sapling. Another highlight of the event was the cutting of a cake in celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day. As the country approaches this national occasion, the Government of Sindh is organizing a wide range of diverse programs to commemorate Independence Day.
