The event was graced by Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh, and Mohammad Kamran Tessori, Governor of Sindh, along with several key provincial ministers, including those responsible for interior affairs, religious endowments, and urban development. Prominent political party leaders, Sunni and Shia scholars, cultural and economic figures, and members of the Iranian diaspora were also in attendance. Among the distinguished guests was Reza Amiri Moghadam, Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, along with Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, Commander of the Iranian Navy, who was in Karachi to lead Iran’s military delegation participating in the multinational naval exercise AMAN-25, which also featured the presence of the Iranian destroyer Jamaran. The ceremony also saw a notable diplomatic presence, with consuls general and diplomats from more than 15 countries attending, including the UAE, Iraq, Oman, Saudi Arabia, China, Kuwait, Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, Qatar, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Turkey. The event served as a platform to reinforce the cultural and diplomatic ties between Iran and Pakistan while celebrating the enduring legacy of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
