H.E. Hassan Nourian, Consul General of the I.R.Iran as a dean of consular corps  planted a tree sapling in this ceremony, which was also attended by the Consul Generals and senior diplomats of other countries. In this event, Farooq Sattar, a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan and a senior member of the Muttahida Qomi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), announced the initiative of the above-mentioned event to plant one million trees throughout Pakistan with the aim of combating climate change.
