Nowruz 1403 celebration at the Consulate General of the I.R.Iran in Karachi

Nowruz 1403 was celebrated at the premises of the Consulate General of the I.R.Iran in Karachi with the presence of resident Iranians including representatives of Zoroastrians Balochs students and Iranian Diplomats.

On Nowruz, the Persian New Year's Day, the Consul General of the I.R.Iran "Hassan Nourian" congratulated this ancient festival to all Iranian compatriots residing in Sindh.

He considered the alignment of the spring of nature with the spiritual spring of the Qur'an as a good omen. Referring to the slogan of the year which was announced by Iran's Supreme Leader as “Boost Production with People Participation”, he considered it as the country's strategy in the New Year.

In extending renewed greetings on the auspicious occasion of Nowruz to the resident Iranian, H.E. Hassan Nourian explained that the activities of the foreign policy apparatus, especially the political and consular missions abroad, are more focused on economic issues and increase people's participation.

He mentioned Nowruz as an international event registered in the United Nations General Assembly under the title of the culture of “peace”. He said that holding Nowruz in many countries, including Pakistan, shows the expansion of Iranian civilization.
